Fractions greater than one
When the numerator is greater than the positive denominator, the fraction is greater than 1.
- When the numerator is greater than the positive denominator, the fraction is greater than 1.
- Each complete group of denominator parts makes one whole.
- Divide the numerator by the denominator. The quotient is the whole part and the remainder is the new numerator.
